ABOUT US
The idea to start SplashKits was inspired in 2018 when SplashKits founder, Jennifer Smith was scrambling to come up with another epic birthday experience for one of her daughters. She realized the struggle many parents experience in trying to create lasting memories and entertain people with activities from the comforts of their own home that everyone can enjoy.
Many party entertainment services, or activities can create a divide in groups based on age, gender, skill and/or other factors which also caused a split or limited budget. Jennifer wasn't alone.
This was a struggle for party planners alike; to bring everyone together for invaluable bonding experiences where people felt safe to engage and can be themselves. The magic of art is that it is an expression of ones' self, open to interpretation, encourages creativity where people of all ages can explore their inner artist and create a masterpiece as unique as they are.

Interestingly enough, I do not have a formal background in art as it's more of a hobby and passion since as early as my childhood. Event planning, arts and crafts has been my way of staying connected to those I love.
I can't tell you how many times I have heard, "I'm not artistic or the artistic type and it crushes my heart because art is so versatile and beneficial. It does not have to have a "type" or be based solely on skill, experience or possessing some natural gift. It can be fun and expressive too!
We focus on enriching social and family bonding experiences through artistic exploration. Our mission is to add a splash of color to communities across the world, bringing friends, family and teams together in a safe, self-expressive and creative space for all to enjoy.
WHAT ARE SPLASHKITS
SplashKits are fun, do-it-yourself painting kits, that can be done in the comfort of your home or in a social setting with your favorite people. They come complete with everything you need to create your own masterpiece including easy to follow step-by-step instructions.
With over 90 colorful designs to choose from and no experience necessary, they are a unique gift and provide hours of entertainment as a hobby or party activity.
